Thank You!

Thank you for another wonderful year! It is now time for me to enjoy the holiday season with my own family. I will not be scheduling anymore sessions from Monday December 19, 2011 through January 10, 2012.

All completed sessions and orders will be delivered this week.

All Fordson High School yearbook photos taken will be turned in this week to meet the school’s deadline.

Thank you all for being such wonderful clients and friends! Merry Christmas! Enjoy your time with your family. Have a Happy and Prosperous New Year! Celebrate safe!

With that, I would like to leave you with photos taken of my kids experience with Santa this year at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI. They always have such a gorgeous set, and Santa takes his time with each child. I like it, because we can take our own photos. The visit is included in the admission price of the museum, unless of course you have a membership, then it’s absolutely free!!

ps. I will catch up on blogging some of my recent photo sessions soon.  In the mean time, you can see them all on my Facebook page at http://facebook.com/besekphotography

Operation: Kid Equip – Backpackpalooza Comerica Detroit, MI

Operation: Kid Equip held its second Backpackpaloza event at the Comerica Bank headquarters in Downtown Detroit, Michigan.   It was another gorgeous day and the families came out to get much needed supplies for school.   Comerica was generous to give their lobby over to OKE for the morning.  City Year Detroit and Comerica provided plenty of volunteers.

Operation: Kid Equip Backpackpalooza – Warren, Michigan

I had the awesome opportunity to capture photos for Operation:Kid Equip as they had one of their backpack distribution extravaganzas!   If you want to learn more about OKE, please visit their website.   Helping under privileged kids get essential school supplies that they would otherwise not have as they start the school year.   They hold several of these events right before the start of the school year.  Throughout the remainder of the school year they operate a depot that teachers from approved schools can come to “shop” for supplies that their classrooms need and are not getting because of district and state wide cuts to funding education.  This is basic needs such as paper and pencils!   Do you realize that what we don’t or can’t buy for our own kids, teachers often use their own money to supply their classrooms??   It shouldn’t be that way, and OKE does what they can to get these supplies into teachers hands.

Here are the photos from the first backpackpalooza in Warren, Michigan’s city hall building.  It was a HUGE event!  Time Team Detroit provided volunteers.  Mojo in the Morning from 95.5 was there.  United HealthCare sponsored the even. And of course the city of Warren, Michigan provided a beautiful space to accommodate all the supplies and families coming through.

Dearborn Business Portraits – Real Estate Agent

In the business of real estate, it is imperative that your first impression is a strong one.  Your marketing materials such as brochures, business cards, and any other piece that has your image on it is the first thing that your potential clients will see!

Many real estate agents in Dearborn and Metro Detroit also have LinkedIn profiles.  What type of photo are you using for LinkedIn or Facebook marketing?   I sure hope it’s not that photo you took with your camera phone!

Here’s another question… How old is the photo that you are currently using?  If it’s over 4 or 5 years, then it’s outdated.  I see many billboards, and business mailers by real estate agents that are over 10 years old!  It’s time to get a fresh up to date photo.

I know how busy real estate professionals are.  That’s why I offer a quick session that you can schedule in between your house showings.  I offer quick turn around of your digital photos that you will be able to use in all facets of your marketing.

Your session paid includes 2 digital images for use on printed materials as well as on the web.    Call or email today to get your session scheduled.  Put your professional image in front of all your potential clients!

That’s exactly what Luis Rodriguez of Century 21 Curran and Christie did!  He now has a couple of sharp images to use.   Hey, and if you are looking to buy or sell a home, be sure to call 313.274.7200 ask for him!

Modern High School Photography: Dearborn

Lauren is one of my 2012 Senior Models.   She attends Fordson High School. If you know her, be sure to ask her about the special offer she can give you when you come in for your session.  We went out for her regular senior session to Greenfield Village.  It was a beautiful day!  We were still in July so it was really HOT and HUMID!   Needless to say, her photos turned out spectacular!!!

I can’t wait to do our studio portion!  This is only a quick preview sampling of what we captured that day!
