It’s OK to relax and just capture the moment. Every photo does not have to be a masterpiece. Just enjoy your time with your family and snap the shots without worrying about composition, color, depth of field, etc.
We took out kids to Henry Ford Museum to see Santa over the weekend. I wanted photos of the kids with Santa, but I wasn’t going to try for anything spectacular. I had my speedlight on the camera, and I had the camera on AP. I wasn’t concerned about much except for capturing the kids interacting with the big guy!
The snapshots of the moment that the kids saw Santa coming down the hall are just the BEST! You can’t beat the pure joy you see on their faces!
And yes, Thomas is making Emma into a hotdog over by the WienerMobile Cafe. 🙂
